Don’t Be Indeferent Poland 21 May 2015

The Youth Exchange was carried out in the amazing Zakopane in Poland which is one of the most famous hiking places of Poland with more than 1.5 million tourists per year. All of the teams, Poland, FYROM, Turkey and Cyprus were gathered in a large house in the heart of Zakopane for 8 days!! The total number of participants were 21 plus 2 trainers. We worked together on the issues of social indifference focusing and expanded our knowledge on digital competence such us video editing. We were all speechless from the view of the nearby lake “Morskie Oko” were we hiked for 19km in the rain to reach to the top of it!! We also had the opportunity to carry out a social experiment on domestic violence were we watch and analysed the behaviour of random people in such an event. Highlight of the youth exchange the presentation of Cyprus were we offered shoushoukko, loukkoumi, pastellaki, village sausasage and halloumi to the rest of the participants!! And of course later we danced Cypriot Sousta, Kalamatiano and Zeimpekiko!!
Cyprus team then visited Warsaw for the next 2 days were we explored the historical city!!
