November 2019 – April 2020
Long Term ESC
“Youth Force” is an ongoing ESC volunteering project for 6 months. Firstly, the participants will be given the opportunity to participate in a project that will enhance their skills, make them more confident with higher self-esteem, and that will give them the chance to be creative and innovative, bring in new ideas and brainstorm, and finally learn how an NGO functions. Through volunteering, the participants will be given the opportunity to learn through non-formal and informal learning, and they will be given full support to unfold the full potential of their skills and creativity. Furthermore, the volunteers will receive thorough training on how an NGO works, on how to train other people, and in general, they will learn through hands-on experience with tangible results. Additionally, the volunteers will learn how to adjust to a new culture and a new language, and how to work in a multicultural environment and as a part of a team.
The volunteers will be working with us in PlanBe and assist on different tasks that the organization has to carry out such as the implementation of our Erasmus+ (KA1) projects, but also in the daily activities of the organization. They will design and implement upcycling workshops in schools and communities in rural areas, and finally, they will be working on future upcycling projects. The volunteers will be interacting with the volunteers in our organization on a daily basis, bring their own ideas and run workshops/seminars at schools for ESC, promote reuse and upcycling.
Age: 18-30 Years old
Our future volunteers are expected to be willing and ready for new challenges and experiences, creative, with no fears for taking responsibilities and willing to work in a team.
