Youth Exchange

Project Description

The project revolves around raising awareness around climate change issues and its impacts on humans and societies. Project will be organised in Cologne,Germany between 23-29/09/18 and between 03-05/09/18 we have APV meeting for making sure that everything during our YE will go as
planned. It will be a Youth exchange based on the environmental awareness of the participants and especially of the Young people and target group of the local community of Cologne,Germany.

The project will raise the awareness on top of European project and raise the awareness about Environmental issues number and profile of  participants; 42 participants, 6 gender balanced groups from Hungary, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Lithuania and Germany totally 42 participants.

Description of activities

Group building activities,presentations, energizers, round table activities, city game, square campaign, creativity workshops, methodology to be used in carrying out the project; non formal education and life long learning methods, based on learning to learn, learning by doing, creative workshops.

At the end of the YE, we will give the YOUTHPASS Certificate to the participants. During the project, we will also teach them how to write their own projects and one of the longer term benefits will be the results of the group campaigns ( well explained activity in the timetable ) and the future collaborations between the partner organizations of the project. To conclude with, all key competences of non formal and life long learning will be underlined as well

 

Participants profile

Motivated, ready to contribute and learn, interested in the project’s topic. People with low experience in the Erasmus+ programme projects will be prefered since we need to motivate more people into participating. Participants will basic knowledge of English.

Eligible to participate in this project are only Cypriots or Cypriot residents.
